ART IS MESSY! Throughout the school year, your child will be using paint and other art materials. Every effort will be taken to ensure cleanliness during our projects. Please make sure that your child has a smock at school labeled with his/her name that may be worn during our messy days! Old t-shirts work best. Please avoid long sleeves and/buttons if possible.

TAKING HOME ART PROJECTS: Some art projects will be taken home during the course of the year. Some projects will remain in the art room until after the Festival of the Arts art show in the Spring. Every student at Lakeview School will have artwork featured in this show.

Festival Of The Arts: Lakeview's annual Festival of The Arts showcases our students' creativity, talents, and accomplishments in all related arts areas. Your child will be bringing home a flier this Spring with event details. Student artwork will be displayed throughout the school and in the Art Room (Room B11). I look forward to seeing you there!
